Aaron Dontez Yates (born November 8, 1971 in Kansas City, Missouri) better known as Tech N9ne, is an american rapper known by many for his throught provoking rhymes and fast-paced flow.
Tech found his calling in 1985 when he daringly picked up a pen and wrote a rhyme. That next day he performed his rhyme at school and his legacy began.
Currently in the rap game for 23 years, this motor-mouthed rapper has rocked sold out shows all across the world. He has worked with some of the rap game’s biggest producers, and written or rapped on songs with artists like Tupac, D12, Brotha Lynch, Paul Wall, Ice Cube, Scarface, and Shawnna. Even though known by many, Tech is still considered as one of the slept on rap artists in the game today. Anyone who has ever listened to his music, knows that his level of skill is above most of the famous names in the industry.
Tech knows this too, as he has expressed his feelings in the track “Why You Ain’t Call Me” off his latest album “Killer” speaking on many mainstream artists never calling him for collaborations. If there is one thing that Tech fans know, is everything Tech spits on his tracks is from his heart.
